SOAR to Health and Wellness Human Trafficking Training
The SOAR framework is a trauma-informed, culturally and linguistically appropriate response to human trafficking. This eLearning module uses the SOAR framework to build participants' skills to identify and respond to the needs of individuals who have experienced trafficking and understand the root causes that make individuals, families, and communities vulnerable to trafficking.
Learning objectives:
- Describe the types of human trafficking in the U.S.
- Recognize possible indicators of human trafficking
- Screen and identify individuals who have been trafficked
- Assess the needs of individuals who have been trafficked and deliver appropriate services
- Share the importance of human trafficking awareness and responsiveness with others in your work environment
