On October 4, 2021, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Population Affairs (OPA) amended the Title X Family Planning regulations to provide access to equitable, affordable, client-centered, quality family planning services for more people. The 2021 regulations replaced the 2019 regulations and readopted the 2000 regulations with a number of important updates. During this webinar, we reviewed key changes between the 2019 and 2021 regulations, including reinstatement of the requirement to provide nondirective pregnancy options counseling. We also reviewed new provisions in the 2021 regulations that expand access, quality, and equity.
