Summative Evaluation Approaches for Rigorously Testing a Promising, Well-Defined Intervention Webinar

In this February 2023 webinar, the third in a series of four evaluation-focused webinars, presenters discussed summative evaluation approaches for rigorously testing an intervention that might occur as part of an OPA-funded project. Reproductive and adolescent health interventions may show promising early evidence, but only through rigorous testing is it possible to be sure that they are truly effective in achieving their intended outcomes. This webinar discussed the conditions under which summative evaluations are appropriate and provided recommendations for how to design and implement a credible, informative, and relevant test of intervention effects.
