This meeting package will guide your team to take action in recognizing urgent maternal warning signs in the postpartum period. The package includes resources to facilitate a 30-minute meeting, along with steps to help you plan for post-meeting actions your agency can take.

Learning Objectives:

By the end of this meeting, participants will be able to: 

  • Explain the importance of screening for current pregnancy and pregnancy within the past 12 months
  • Identify at least two resources that support recognizing and responding to urgent maternal warning signs
