This job aid includes information for family planning providers on two types of visits: problem-oriented and preventive medicine ones. Guidance in this job aid reflects changes to evaluation and management (E/M) codes that went into effect on January 1, 2021 and were updated on January 1, 2023. Common modifiers used in family planning visits are also included.
