Culturally responsive and equitable evaluation (CREE) principles recognize the importance that culture (demographics, geography, context, as well as social and political factors) plays throughout an evaluation. This tip sheet is designed for TPP program staff and evaluators interested in learning more about CREE and applying CREE principles to evaluation activities, such as an implementation study, an impact evaluation, or continuous quality improvement approaches. It outlines a seven-step framework for designing a CREE and lays out practical tips and questions for TPP program staff and evaluators to consider, as they design and conduct an evaluation.
