Youth Resilience Supports and Actions for TPP Projects Workshop
TPP projects play a key role in building youth resilience, which is young people’s capacity to cope with setbacks, navigate challenges, and bounce back from adversity.
Join this workshop for TPP facilitators and youth-serving staff to learn practical strategies for building youth resilience. The workshop will describe various resilience models and supports, and will provide opportunities for attendees to explore and discuss youth resilience-building strategies in the context of their programs.
This workshop is open to youth-serving staff across all TPP tiers. Participants will be approved after registering through Zoom. Registration will be capped at 50.

Learning Objectives:
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Describe two key differences between traditional (individual-focused) and alternative (collective) models of resilience
- Identify 1–2 limitations to using resilience as an individual trait
- Briefly describe the value of collective resilience as an alternative model of resilience
- Identify and share one strategy from their own experience that builds youth resilience through social support, connection, or collective action
