Parent engagement in schools is defined as parents and school staff working together to support and improve the learning, development, and health of children and adolescents. This web page includes several resources that explain the importance of parent engagement and guide schools in engaging parents, including a fact sheet that links parent engagement in schools to HIV/STD prevention and materials that support parent engagement-oriented staff development.
