Reducing Missed Opportunities for HPV Vaccinations at Title X Sites Webinar

Cervical cancer is the most common human papillomavirus (HPV)-associated cancer among women, and half of cervical cancers occur in women under 50 years of age. CDC recommends routine HPV vaccination at age 11 or 12 years to prevent HPV cancers, yet vaccination rates remain low. During this webinar from December 2019, Dr. Cynthia Rand, MD, MPH, Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Rochester Medical Center, will first review HPV vaccine guidelines, effectiveness, and safety. She will then describe actionable strategies that Title X providers can use to increase HPV vaccination rates at their sites.
