Quality Family Planning Recommendations (QFP) states that “service sites that offer family planning services should have a system for conducting quality improvement (QI)” and define QI as “the use of a deliberate and continuous effort to achieve measurable improvement.” This eLearning course builds the capacity of family planning providers to implement a system for conducting quality improvement.

Note: As of September 2021, this module replaced the Quality Improvement Series.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Describe at least two advantages of quality improvement and the steps to implement quality improvement in a family planning setting
  2. Describe the questions and steps in the Model for Improvement
  3. Identify at least two strategies to incorporate quality improvement into your agency's culture
