This eLearning course covers preventive care, health education and health promotion, reproductive health services, and medical management related to gender transition. It will help healthcare professionals provide culturally sensitive and evidence-based care to transgender and gender nonconforming people.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this independent study, participants will be able to:

  • Describe accepted medical protocols for gender affirmation
  • Describe models of informed consent for gender affirmation
  • Determine which primary care services to provide clients of any gender identity, based on their anatomy and physiology
