Jessica Swafford Marcella will share the 54-year history of Title X and provide updates on how OPA is defining equity.
11:00–11:45 am | Title X Expectations Deep Dive

Facilitators will hold roundtable discussions around strategies and best and promising practices to help meet Title X expectations as a new Title X staff member.
11:45–12:15 pm | An Introduction to the Total Program Concept
Facilitator: Lisa Schamus, RHNTC
The Total Program Concept provides guidance on reporting client numbers, expenses, and revenues for Title X projects. Participants will become familiar with this key Title X concept using case scenarios.
12:15–1:15 pm | Lunch and Learn
Join in the RHNTC/CTC-SRH Scavenger Hunt during lunch!
1:15–2:15 pm | Putting the Participation in CPEP
Facilitator: Kami Geoffray, Geoffray Strategies
Participants will become familiar with best practices for conducting required community participation, education, and project promotion (CPEP) activities and will share strategies used within their agencies.
2:30–3:15 pm | Agency Challenges and Successes
Participants will be grouped by agency type to discuss key considerations for delivering Title X services within specific settings. Breakout assignments will be provided during registration.
3:15–3:45 pm | The Intersection of Maternal Health and Title X Service Delivery
Facilitator: Meg Sheahan, RHNTC
Participants will become familiar with the intersection of maternal health issues with Title X service delivery around ensuring comprehensive and accessible healthcare for people with reproductive health needs.
3:45–4:00 pm | Day 1 Wrap-up

9:15–10:30 am | Exploring Three Functional Roles within Title X
Facilitators: Kristin Metcalf (CTC-SRH), Kami Geoffray (Geoffray Strategies), Cynthia Harris (Washington State Department of Health)
Participants will join facilitated group discussions specific to the three main functional roles within Title X: clinical, administrative, and fiscal work.
10:45–11:45 am | Delivering Welcoming and Inclusive Series
Facilitator: Dr. Vinny Chulani, Section Chief of Adolescent Medicine at Phoenix Children's Hospital
Dr. Chulani will share the importance of inclusion in the delivery of Title X services, using case examples of engaging with diverse clients and communities. He will share best practices for improving access, quality, and equity.
