This webinar presents high impact practices to strengthen hypertension services in the outpatient sexual and reproductive health setting. This webinar is part of a series on High Impact Practice Sets (HIPS) that address leading causes of maternal mortality and racial disparities in maternal health. These practices were adapted from Alliance for Innovation on Maternal Health (AIM) Patient Safety Bundles by the RHNTC in collaboration with the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). Speakers describe the impact of hypertension on maternal health, including on racial disparities in maternal morbidity and mortality; the role of hypertension prevention, recognition, and control in the reproductive health setting; high impact practices for strengthening hypertension prevention, recognition, and control; and new RHNTC resources designed to help strengthen hypertension services.
