Positive youth development (PYD) is an approach that centers on giving youth experiences that contribute to their healthy and successful development. This assessment is designed to help grantee staff—including health educators, project leaders, and evaluators—identify where your project is already integrating elements of PYD and where you can improve.

This assessment was originally developed by Child Trends for the Office of Adolescent Health and was adapted by the RHNTC.
