This suite of resources is designed to guide your TPP project in preparing and delivering a successful pitch presentation. For example, you might develop a pitch to persuade potential funders that can help secure your program’s sustainability or to gain buy-in from stakeholders and implementation partners that can help grow or scale your program.

Use the Pitching Basics (PDF) guide to kickstart the creation of a successful pitch.

This guide walks you through the:

  • Core components to build a successful pitch (your goal, audience, team members’ strengths, and the right content)
  • Core skills to make a pitch effective (public speaking, storytelling, slides and visuals, and accessibility)

Use the Virtual vs. In-Person Pitching (PDF) guide to optimize your pitch for a virtual or in-person format.

This guide walks you through:

  • Key differences and considerations for a virtual v. in-person pitch
  • Tips for making the most of your format

Practice makes improvement! Bring your team together, split into small groups, and use the Pitch Practice Lab (PDF) guide to practice developing and delivering a pitch.

This is an opportunity to apply what you learned in Pitching Basics and Virtual v. In-Person Pitching. Hold both virtual and in-person pitch labs so you can practice each format.
