Schools can play a critical role in addressing youth sexually transmitted diseases and HIV prevention. This implementation kit, developed for staff from state and local education agencies, offers a standardized framework for developing and implementing a sexual health services referral system in priority districts and/or schools. Education agencies can also use this framework to establish a referral system for behavioral and supportive services (e.g., housing support, mental health services, after-school activities, job training, and substance use disorder treatment).
