Using the FPNTC Training Tracking System to Ensure Compliance with Title X Training Requirements


I found it really easy to be able to send staff the link to complete FPNTC courses and get a certificate. It’s beneficial that they can print their own certificates, so they can use them for other things.

Caring Hands Healthcare Centers, Inc., a Title X grantee and Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Hartshorne and McAlester, Oklahoma, provides family planning, primary care, behavioral health, and dental services in one clinic. Since clinical, front office, and administrative staff may encounter Title X patients, Caring Hands requires everyone (except for dental staff) to complete a series of trainings to meet Title X grant requirements. In December 2018, Caring Hands began using the FPNTC Training Tracking System on to create and share training lists tailored to the training needs of different groups, including Title X clinical and non-clinical, front office, and finance staff. To create the lists, Caring Hands used the Training Tracking System search functionality to find relevant training by staff role. As staff complete assigned trainings, the training administrator at Caring Hands can monitor progress to ensure competence and compliance.
