Introducing the Improving Maternal Health Through Systems Strengthening Initiative

Systems strengthening is an effective approach to improving maternal health outcomes. Want to learn how your sexual and reproductive health (SRH) agency or adolescent health program can take this approach?

The RHNTC is excited to introduce an initiative that will examine how SRH is an important indicator of maternal health outcomes. The initiative will explore system improvement opportunities available to SRH providers and adolescent health programs to address current trends in maternal morbidity and mortality.

During this office hour, the RHNTC will introduce grantees to the initiative, which will include a webinar series and a community of practice (CoP) on this topic. Participants will learn about session-specific topics, session dates, and how to apply for the CoP. There will be an opportunity for questions.

This office hour is available only to Title X grantees and Teen Pregnancy Prevention (TPP) Program grantees. Participants will be approved after registering through Zoom. TPP grantees play an important role in educating adolescents; adolescence is a critical transitional period and an opportunity to improve maternal health outcomes down the line.
