Convening for New Title X Staff
Registration for this convening is now closed.
The RHNTC invites new Title X staff to join us for a Convening for New Title X Staff on November 14–15, 2023 in the Washington, D.C. area (meeting location TBD). The convening will provide an in-person opportunity for new Title X staff to connect with each other and to learn about the Program from both seasoned Title X staff and the RHNTC.
Over the course of 1.5 days, attendees will participate in interactive workshops designed to help new Title X staff understand the Program, seize opportunities, and overcome common challenges. Topics will include: the history of Title X, Title X Program Expectations, the total program concept and community participation. There will also be breakout sessions focused on each Title X Program component—clinical, administrative, and fiscal.
Convening Objectives
The objectives of the convening are to:
- Connect new Title X staff to each other
- Increase knowledge of Title X Program Expectations among new Title X staff
- Share resources available to Title X staff
Attendees
We welcome new Title X staff (working as part of Title X for less than two years) from grantee agencies, subrecipients, and service sites to attend this convening. The convening is intended for Title X directors/administrators, program managers, fiscal and accounting staff, clinical leadership (e.g., medical directors, nurse consultants, clinical consultants), training directors, quality improvement directors, and strategic communication staff.
Registration is limited to the first 50 registrants and will be capped at two staff per agency. If you have concerns about the cap of two staff per agency, please email the RHNTC at rhntc@jsi.com.
Travel Costs & Lodging
This convening is free to attend. The RHNTC will provide a $1,500 stipend toward travel and lodging costs for each registrant. Stipends will be paid directly to grantee agencies; grantees will distribute these funds to subrecipients and service sites approximately 30 days after the convening, assuming attendees have submitted the required documents. After registration, the RHNTC will provide detailed instructions for how to receive the stipend.
Hotel rooms for the convening will be offered at a discounted rate. The RHNTC will provide information for booking hotel stays in an email the week of September 18, following confirmation of registration.
